The Berlin Institute of Health in myHealth@myHands
The myHealth@myHands project aims to revolutionise digital healthcare in the European Union by 2030. Our primary goal is to provide all EU citizens with secure online access to their medical data, thereby simplifying health management.
The BIH is represented in the project by the Roland Eils working group.
The project empowers individuals by giving them control over their health data, enabling them to decide for themselves who can access this information while receiving personalised healthcare.
myHealth@myHands thus ties in seamlessly with the work and results of HEALTH-X dataLOFT: Europe-wide, citizen-centred data access and use!
Sarah Wächter, Harald Wagener and Christian Buggedei here at the BIH are enthusiastic participants in myHealth@myHands and hosted the three-day consortium meeting in early November. Here, various workshops and working groups worked on specific application scenarios and a common understanding of the technology.
Representatives from more than two dozen consortium members and guests from gematik put their heads together and laid the groundwork for the work to be done in the coming months, where we want to develop cross-border medication support and, as a consortium, complete the first testable prototype in Q1 2026.
